About the Artist
Robert Beras is a Michigan-based photographer and digital artist whose work explores the space between observation and imagination. After a 35-year career as a digital retouching artist creating imagery for major brands, he turned his focus to fine art photography. His work ranges from minimalist, in-camera photographs to his ongoing Dream Series, a collection of surreal yet believable images that blend reality with memory and emotion. Beras has exhibited throughout Michigan and continues to create from his studio in Lathrup Village, where he pursues images that invite viewers to find their own stories within them.
